Well, I'm back from an 8-month hiatus. I'll try not to let that happen again. Hope this mild weather finds you well, and outside enjoying our local environs.

A lot has happened since my last post, so there's a lot to catch up on here. Among other things, the 2004 Maryland Assembly saw the passage of the "flush fee", a $2.50/month service charge on sewer and septic systems in the state, payable into a fund which will upgrade our wastewater infrastructure. The Governor and Assembly deserve credit for passing this badly needed legislation.
